WHAT IS ME AT THE ZOO?

ME AT THE ZOO (MATZ) is a movement built to empower everyone to keep going even when life feels like a zoo. Sometimes life feels unpredictable, loud, and overwhelming. But you don’t give up.

Founded in 2019 by THE ZOO KEEPER, Ricki Ricaya.

ME AT THE ZOO was born from her real experiences. A time marked by homelessness, instability and survival. She turned her survival into strength and chaos into clarity. She used MATZ as her reminder that even in a locked cage she still had the key.

Every September MATZ honors Suicide Prevention Awareness Month as a reminder that you matter and staying here is powerful.

Survival is style. Thank you for not giving up.
